Pale Wanderer

Origin

After the fighting at Picachio in 1862 a soldier moved out to the Sonoran Desert, Arizona, to have a quiet and peaceful solitude life. He would come to town to do odd jobs but then the great depression hit and turned the town into a ghost town overnight. Desperate the soldier trekked into the heart of the desert and was not seen for a long while.

Almost 50 years later, oil jacks near Yuma found the soldier in one of their storage houses. He was drinking the crude oil like water, and he had transformed into a monster with fangs and claws. He had been become the Pale Wander and would attack people in “his desert”.

He always attacked when it was hot, and only at night. He would eat his victim and would leave the desert covered in blood and horror.
