Sidekick of Cisco Kid. Pancho debuted in the movie The Cisco Kid Returns (1945) and replaced the two previous sidekicks: Lopez and Gordito, Pancho lasted longer, also being featured on television, comic strips and comic books. Cisco and Pancho are nicknames for the same name: Francisco, it was possibly inspired by Sancho Panza and Pancho Villa.
