He was first thought to have been Superboy’s genetic donor but later it was discovered that Superboy was really a clone of Superman and Lex Luthor. He was killed by Dabney Donovan and during a accident in Hypertime all of his alternate versions were erased from existence. He was survived by his daughter Amanda Spence who was part of group who cloned Superboy and created Match.
