Major Story Arcs
After consuming a family of four, Paw settles around a campfire and listens to Vincent read from the Book of Revelations about the end of the world. (The words are not quite right.) Rod McCloud enters the camp and asks about supplies. The men welcome the boy and anticipate eating him. Whiskey Jill saves Rod, however, and jabs a knife into Paw’s neck. He flounders around for a second and then falls dead into the fire with his arms out. He sons die next to him. The Marshall finds their bodies some hours later and comments that the men look as if depicting the crucifixion.
Some time later, Paw is seen in a kind of afterlife listening to Vincent continue to misquote scripture.
