Pede was the last segment of the many segmented Centipede. His importance comes to play when the evil wizard hypnotizes his bug friends and the rest of Centipede. Luckily for Pede, the spell didn’t go back that far when it hit Centipede. So the first chance he got, Pede warned Oliver and helped him overcome the hypnotized bugs and defeat the evil wizard. As a reward Pede got to be the front head of the Centipede. It is unknown if the entity called itself Pedeicent from then on.
