Peppermint was a stripper at a club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After becoming Bailey Mathis’ mistress, she learned of his involvement in a unity pact. Peppermint’s knowledge of this unity pact made her a target for Belinda Mathius, who sent bodyguard Jimmy Scully after her. Before Scully could silence Peppermint however, she was rescued by Hawkeye.
Later, while hiding out in a hotel, a drunken Peppermint was confronted by both Hawkeye and Jimmy Scully. Drawing a firearm given to her Bailey Mathius, Peppermint fired at the two men, but the bullet unexpectedly ricocheted, fatally striking her in the head.
