Phantom Spaceman

Kobold also known as Courier First Class Kobold was a space courier from an unnamed planet that orbited a blue giant star over 10,000 light years away from Earth. Kobold was a young 214 earth years old. He was sent to deliver a message in the form of an energy sphere to warring factions on the far side of the galaxy. While on his way to to his destination a comet hit his interstellar courier ship and sent it on course to Earth. Kobold was in a state of suspended animation while a phantom ghost of himself explored the lands. The ghost came upon a S.T.A.R. Labs nuclear reactor. The ghost proceeded to steal the control rods. Superman arrived to clean up the dangerous situation. The phantom ghost struck again at another nuclear reactor but Superman stopped the ghost from taking the control rods. Superman came upon the ship with a sleeping Kobold, waking him up and discovered that the ghost was on a mission to find control rods to repair the damaged nuclear engine of the interstellar courier ship. Kobold asked Superman to help deliver his message to the warring factions. But, Superman informed him that his crash landing happened hundreds or thousands of years ago and that it is pointless now. A war was fought needlessly because Kobold’s message never reached the warring factions.
