After The Stickman killed Kid Dusk, the sidekick of The Insomniac, a bounty was put on Stickman’s head. Insomniac’s superhero team, The Continuum, was desperate to brutalize the costume crime-fighters into going into hiding as the Insomniac upped his aggressiveness against them in the wake of his sidekick’s death. Pigeon Pete was recruited by Stickman earlier on to plan the assassination. Their plan was to take out all the other heroes so that Stickman and Insomniac could have a monogamous rivalry. Pete was burnt out on supervillainy and did not appreciate the attitude of the new generation of villains, so he was eager to help Stickman.

At the same time, the daughter of an old friend, Playtime, was putting together a team of supervillains to find Stickman before either The Continuum or The Insomniac find them. Pete joins to try and keep Playtime out of trouble, as he had already made a deal with Stickman to keep her safe. He informed on their many dead end investigations to Stickman until they were led into a trap, where Stickman convinces them to work for him.

Pete and the others are teleported into the lair of The Insomniac so they could plant bombs and destroy it. Brain Tease believed the traitor member was a ruse so the team planned to be at each other’s throats, forcing Stickman to arrive to whip them into shape. When the team tried to confront Stickman, Pigeon Pete revealed himself. Stickman started to attack the other villains, including Playtime. Angry, Pete lashes out. He hotwires Insomniac’s modified car and runs into Stickman, killing him.

Pete would be left for dead by Playtime and Scalpel, who kill Insomniac while making their escape. Although, he would be saved by emergency workers.
