Origin
Very little is known about Piper’s origins. At some point she settled in New York City and created the Moody coven.
Creation
Piper was created by Ann Nocenti and Trevor McCarthy. She made her first appearance in Klarion #1.
Major Story Arcs
Klarion
Piper welcomes the newly-arrived Klarion into the Moody Museum. Later, she and Noah travel together to the Necropolitan Club, where the fight between Rasp and Klarion has spiralled out of control. Arriving on the scene, they wipe the memories of the bystanders and return with the teens to the Museum. There, Piper lectures them on the responsible use of their powers. When Klarion and Zell enter Klarion’s pocket, Piper and Noah go after them. She targets Swag, who reveals he has put a wedge between Zell and Klarion, so that Klarion will eventually turn to their side. When Klarion leaves she begins developing a spell to deal with the monster Gargora, which has been accidentally dragged into reality from Klarion’s pocket. Her spell awakens Klarion’s familiar Teekl, and she encourages Klarion to defeat Gargora. Piper works with Klarion and the rest of the coven to defeat Gargora.
Powers and Abilities
Piper is a magical being with largely unexplored skills. She has displayed the capacity for flight, telekinesis, and energy blasts, among other uses of magic.
