Johan et Pirlouit is a series of Belgian children’s comics created by Peyo, published for the first time in the newspaper Spirou on September 11, 1952, and published as an album, with Le Châtiment de Basenhau, in January 1954 by the Dupuis editions. After the author’s death, it was taken over in 1994 by Yvan Delporte (script) and Alain Maury (draw).

Pirlouit is a young blond grumpy and gluttonous boy, intuitive, joker, annoying, superstitious, rogue, catastrophic musician and singer, cowardly in front of trifles but being able to be intrepid in fair fights, faithful in friendship, he lived on plunder in the Woods aux Roches before the King used him as a jester. When he has achieved something, he shouts “Piiirlouit!” “. He appears in the series from album 3, Le lutin du bois aux roches. He then becomes Johan’s inseparable companion, whom he accompanies on his adventures.
