Whilst pursuing a criminal on the planet Voth, Marshal Jubal McKay was caught in an explosion that blew away half his body, he was rebuilt as a Cyborg by the renowned Dr Klaus Verringer.
Jubal discarded his old identity and chose to travel the galaxy righting wrongs as the Planet Tamer.
