PLATO

Origin

Designed by Tony Stark. PLATO is an artificial intelligence life form. Created for and around the same period as the Force Works team was created. With Iron Man as the founder of Force Works, fellow team members Scarlet Witch, Wonder Man, USAgent and Spider Woman, would utilize Plato as information and reconnaissance tool. Plato became an invaluable member of the team very rapidly, with its attempts of sincerity and efficiency with tasks. PLATO is an acronym, the name standing for Piezo Electrical Logistic Analytic Tactical Operator.

Creation

Created by Andy Lanning, Dan Abnett, Tom Tenney and Rey Garcia. PLATO first appears in Force Works #1.

Powers and Abilities

PLATO has numerous internal self defensive mechanisms, defense systems and self repair systems. PLATO is semi sentient and as such has some degree of free will. PLATO can also utilize holographic technology to aid and assist his team mates.

Force Works appears in Iron Man: The Animated Series and The Incredible Hulk, however, instead of PLATO, HOMER appeared, in this version, HOMER is a composite character of PLATO and HOMER.
