Pop Tate’s real name is Terry Tate. He is a character in the Archie Comics. He lives in the fictional town of Riverdale where he owns local hangout restaurant, The Chok’lit Shoppe. He is a huge help to the Archie gang, often behind the counter listening to their problems and helping while serving them ice cream or other soda shop goodies. Pop Tate’s biggest customer is Jughead Jones. Many times he has lets Jughead Jones run a big tab until her refuses him any more store credit. His shop over the years has maintained its nostalgia. An Antique soda fountain and jukebox still adorn the classic shop.
