Origin
Poppo the Clown, whose name it seems really is Poppo, grew up at the son of circus acrobats who by the age of 10 felt himself ready to join them on the high-wire.Â
His father however thought such things as tightrope walking was too dangerous for a boy.Â
So instead Poppo put on a clown outfit he designed, declared he would never take it off and started training with the circusâ head clown.Â
After traveling the world mastering the âjoy of making others laugh, while hiding his own sorrows so other may be happy,â he became known as the clown of all ages.Â
Eventually retiring, though continuing to wear his clown suit and makeup, Poppo gets a shack at the edge of a small town and spends his time interacting with the locals and mainly entertaining local youths Bumpy and Honey.  Â
