Leader of a group of females known as the Warriors of the Hunt, Pothia was chosen as the champion of Artemis when the gods began a wager with one another. All of the women were unable to give birth and Pothia was told that the Ambrosia of Asclepius was the only cure. Â

When she met the Spartan known as Kratos, the champion of Ares, she attempted to join forces with him. He refused and this forced her to fight. She was no challenge for Kratos and he cut her in two.Â
