Prince Rivvak was fearful to lead his forces against those of Odin but Odin manipulated the battle so his own forces would retreat from flaming geysers, giving Rivvak confidence and earning him the name Rivvak the Fearless. Odin did this to insure there would always be men willing to fight the seemingly unbeatable enemy.
