Prince Rudolfo of Latveria was a son of King Vladimir. His father was deposed and killed by Dr. Doom in the latter’s effort to take over the country. Rudolfo spend the rest of his life trying to depose Doom and take over the throne for himself.
In his coup attempts he used military-type strategy and advanced technology, including jet packs, laser pistols and knowlewde or robotics sufficient to reprogram Doombots. He briefly assumed the throne while impersonating Doom. He used one of Doom’s armors. His lack of training did not allow him to use its full offensive or defensive capabilities. Rudoldo was assassinated by Red Skull who briefly took over Latveria. He was avenged by Doom and his claim to the throne passed to his younger brother Zorba.
