History
According to Loki, the Progenitor was an Alpha Celestial who came to Earth while being infected by the Horde four billion years ago in order to die. The Celestial’s body fluids forever changed the evolution trajectory of Earth. Loki also claimed that this led to the mutations and alterations which have occurred in many of Earth’s inhabitants. The corpse of the Celestial lay in the waters of the North Pole.
