Creation
Projectionist was created by writer Paul Cornell as part of his relaunched Stormwatch series. She made her first appearance in Stormwatch #1.

In her first appearance, while on a mission with Martian Manhunter, Projectionist displayed her abilities to scan the entire internet to find information about Apollo and his powers. She attributed her powers to an alien language processing lobe that somehow got lodged in her brain. Later on she is shown preventing news of an extremely large monster from the moon rampaging on the U.S. mainland from reaching the mainstream superhero community. Later she was appointed leader of Stormwatch by the Shadow Cabinet, and shortly thereafter kidnapped by Harry Tanner. She was last seen his hostage in another dimension.
