Pruneface led an espionage ring for the Axis Powers to acquire a secret formula for a for a weapon known as the Xylon Bomb, a non-radioactive bomb capable to destroying 10 or more city blocks. The ring was consisted of Pruneface, his wife, and Flattop Jones and his gang. Pruneface kidnaps the creator of the Xylon Bomb Professor Roloc Bard and forces him to build bombs. He is ultimately stopped by Dick Tracy, who retrieves all of the bombs from Prunceface’s espionage ring.
