He is the god of the Morning Star(Sun) and Venus.
He is one of the most powerful Aztec gods. He controled the sun and weather. He was master of the wing and air. Also he could comand the earth and water. He sometimes represented death and destruction.

When Linda Danvers, Mary Marvel and Buzz fallow the Chaos Stream to Mexico it leads them to the Pyramids of Teotihucan and there Linda inadvertently time travels back to 650 A.D. and interrupts a sacrifice to the Spider Goddess, and freeing Quetzalcoatl to attack the city. She then accidentally bring the god to the present. There Mary Marvel is able to defeat him by knocking him into the Pyramid destroying it.
