Quick-Kick joined the US Army Rangers after being spotted as a hollywood stuntman by a Army adviser. From there he was recruited into the GI Joes. He is very good at hand to hand combat with only being defeated by Snake Eyes.
In the Marvel Comics G.I.Joe series Quick-Kick spent some time in a hostile European prison with fellow Joe members Snow-Job and Stalker. It was only due to Outback’s survival skills and an illegal mission undertaken by other Joes that all three prisoners gained their freedom.
