Alyce is the daughter of the Thing and Sharon (later Sharon Ventura) in the MC2 universe. She was born with super-powers that give her the ability to fly and surround herself in purple energy, which she can fire at will. She trained alongside her brother, Jake Grimm, to become a member of the Fantastic Five.Â

Eventually, her mother came to take the children back to San Francisco with her. After having battled Doctor Doom, only Alyce went home with her mother, not wanting to become a super hero.
