Radu is the owner of a very hip and moderately famous coffee shop in Greenwich Village. He also owns the adjoining apartment building. He gives Kyle a room when he first moves to New York and the two become quick and easy friends. His life has been rescued by Kyle Rayner and in turn he has himself saved Kyle Rayner He was also aware of Kyle’s identity as Green Lantern.
His patrons have included Kyle Rayner, Jade, John Stewart and Guy Gardner, Connor Hawke, Donna Troy and Alan Scott. The logo he uses was designed by Kyle Rayner.
