Ralph Snart was the star of his own comic written and drawn by Marc Hansen, published by defunct publisher Now comics from 1986-1993. Ralph was the subject of numerous twisted experiments by the mad scientist, Dr. Goot, amongst other evil geniuses, and most of his surreal adventures which often involve the pursuit of beer, take place in a psychotic daze induced by these experiments.
He’s the rather funny-looking “everyman” type character with a bulbous nose and spiky hair who worked as an accountant. He often pals around with Mr. Lizard, a reptile who’s grown to human size due to Ralph feeding him radioactive crickets as a child.The wise-cracking, irritable Lizard shares in Ralph’s love of drinking beer and generally getting smashed.
