A distant descendent of Rasputin, Rasp joined the Moody coven as a young man.
Creation
Rasp was created by Ann Nocenti and Trevor McCarthy. He made his first appearance in Klarion #1.
Major Story Arcs
Klarion
Rasp is attacked on the streets by some bullies, and is rescued by Klarion. He invites Klarion to live at the Moody Museum. He is targeted by Coal and Necrot as a likely consumer for their new technology, and is given the first buddybot by Coal. Jacked up by the power boost, he goes to the Necropolitan Club. When he sees Klarion and Zell together he lashes out jealously, and a fight ensues. Klarion brings him down, and together with Zell they escape the scene. Later, he spies on Klarion and Zell as they bond, but is distracted by the emergence of Contessa, his buddybot. The pair bond immediately, and spend time together until they are attacked by Klarion. Rasp protests, and is left alone with the now human-shaped Contessa. She encourages him to acquire more cybernetic enhancements to increase their closeness, and he agrees, sneaking out to the Necropolitan Club and acquiring several augmentations. Soon after h returns to the Moody Museum, and works with Klarion and the rest of the coven to defeat Gargora.
Powers and Abilities
Rasp possesses an inherent magical ability that has gone largely unexplained. He is obsessed with technology, and possesses several cybernetic implants. He is also very difficult to kill.
