Origin
Ratbert was originally a pest to Dilbert, who wanted nothing to do with the rat. But he eventually became fond of Ratbert, and allowed him to stay at his house.
Creation
Ratbert was created by Scott Adams. Although never intended to be a major character, Ratbert was an instant hit with fans.
In Other Media
In the animated Dilbert television series, Ratbert is played by well known voice actor Tom Kenny.
