Origin
The Red Gaucho (no other name ever given) was swashbuckling hero who was “Born in South America of Yankee parents, The Red Gaucho grows to widespread fame by his dashing, smashing methods of battling crime and oppression.”
He mainly battled would-be dictators, and in a rarity for the 40’s instead of Nazi, Communists trying to take over South America.
His main weapons were the sword and whip.
