Red Ray, the “Robin Hood of Space”, was one of early TV Comic’s few strips not based on a television series. Initially drawn by Roland Davies, but most frequently drawn by Neville Main, Red Ray and his allies, the human children Phillip and Anne, carried out several missions for the Space Rayngers of TeVeda under the orders of his superior, Benard, between his 1953 debut and his final story in 1960. The popularity of his character spawned a fan club, with member badges remaining collectors’ items to this day.
