Rias Gremory is the primary female protagonist of High School DXD. Born as a pure blooded devil from a prestigious and powerful clan, the Gremory. She is also the sister of Sirzechs Lucifer, the current Overlord.

She is the president of Kuoh Academy’s Occult Research Club, most of its members are part of her peerage.

Appearance

A third year student that appears to be in her late teenage years. She has a light tone skin color and among her prominent characteristics are her long red hair and buxom figure, said to be the no. 1 beauty of Kuoh Academy.

She has an air of majesty in her, being the heiress of the prestigious and proud Gremory Clan. Most who see her for the first time is not only captivated by her beauty but respect as well for the regal aura she project.

She is commonly seen wearing her school uniform. Some times she wears glasses when in deep though saying it helps her focus even though her eye sight is normal.

Devil Form

Her Devil Form has no notable difference except for the black bat-like wings on her back. It can also be noticed that her figure is accented whenever in this form, probably to portray the tension in the scene enacted.

Whenever fighting, her body in surrounded by red energy projection that means, her Power of Destruction is activated.

Although a devil, Rias is kind and lax to her peerage (servants). She sees her servants as family and will go an extra mile to protect them. When it comes to Issei, she turns into a jealous rich girl the moment she see him with other girls.

Allows Rias to release energies that can disintegrate matter, both living and inanimate with ease. However, opponents stronger than her can easily shield themselves from it. One example is how Kokabiel easily shrug it off.

She later develop a One-Hit move by concentrating Destruction and mixing it with black aura. It is so powerful that it surpass the Retiring System of the Rating Game.

The Red Dragon Emperor’s Awakening

Rias was unintentionally summoned by Issei while he was dying after the Fallen Angel Raynare killed him, she then revives Issei as her servant. She later saves Issei while he was attacked by another Fallen Angel, Dohnaseek. Badly injured and in need of medical assistance, she brings him back to his house and spends the night healing his injuries. She later saves him a second time from Freed Sellzen along with the other members of the Occult Research Club. When Issei goes to the abandoned church to rescue Asia Argento, Rias helps Issei indirectly by killing three of Raynare’s Fallen Angel subordinate before terminating Raynare herself. She then revives Asia as her Bishop to Issei’s delight.

Overview:

– The main objective of the game is to build up Lust and perform moves such as Dress Break.

The story centers around Hyoudou Issei, a dim-witted, lecherous second-year high school student who was killed Raynare on his first date . Issei (Yuuki Kaji) is reincarnated as a devil, and from that day forward, he serves as an underling of Rias Gremory (YÅko Hikasa), a high-level devil who is also the prettiest girl of Kuoh Academy as part of her peerage.

The game has a unique system, the player advances by following his desires. The game’s story parts reenact the anime’s plot, particularly, Issei’s daily school life surrounded by girls. The player engages in conversations with the heroines and improves (or ruins) his standing among them by making choices. According to Famitsu, “the key to winning is ‘lust’!”

In each chapter of the game, there are also battles with various opponents. The battles have a typical turn-based system in which the player selects commands. The player can use the “lust power” accumulated in the story parts to increase the “Dress Break” damage against opponents in battle.

Light Novel

High School DxD is a light novel written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero and published by Fujimi Shobo. It is a Supernatural (Dealing with the topic of Gods, Devils, Etc.) action anime which the story centers on Hyoudou Issei, a perverted high school student who is nearly killed by his first date, Yuuma Amano, who is later revealed as the Fallen Angel Raynare. He is soon saved by Rias Gremory, a crimson-haired beauty who reveals herself as a Devil and part of the Gremory Clan. He finds himself reborn as a Devil with the purpose of serving her.
