Early Life
Ric Olie was born on Naboo and took an interest in flying at a young age. He earned the nickname Reckless Ric fairly quickly while flying his Sandtek Skyflipper. After a narrowly escaped crash landing that would make most young pilots to afraid to fly Ric became more determined to fly, but lost the reckless edge that gave him his nickname. Ric built a new Skyflipper from the wreckage and would ferry people to add to his experience. After graduating from Naboo’s public school Ric enrolled in the Chommel Sector’s academy hoping to become a planetery guard. His overall patriotism for Naboo prevented him from joining the Republic Defense Academy so instead he joined the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps. Ric’s natrual talent made rise through the ranks quickly and he eventually became a commander.
While in the company of off world pilots Riic had a tendency to brag and show off his skills in a form of patriotic zeal. Ric gained combat expericne against the Chommel sectors resident pirates and was often sent to escort ambassadors, dignitaries, and Naboo Royalty. Ric was eventually promoted to head the Star fighter Corps giving him jurisdiction over the entire Naboo navy including Echo Flight, Alpha Flight, and Bravo Squadron. As Bravo Leader, only Captain Panaka held greater jurisdiction in the Naboo security forces, who hand picked him for the job as commander of the Space Fighter Corps
