Rick was abducted by D.A. Sinclar and made into one of D.A.’s abominable Reanimen. Invincible was able to save him and the Global Defense Agency helped to restore his body. William gets very angry at Mark for not caring enough about Rick and trying to help him. After Rick is saved he moves in with William and they are later on revealed to be gay.
Rick and William mend their relationship with Mark, even seeing him socially. Rick reveals he has always been seriously attracted to Mark.
