Creation
Rin is a main character in the Nagasarete Airantou series that was created by Takeshi Fujishiro. The series first began serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly Sh?nen Gangan magazine in January 2002.
Her first appearance was in Nagasarete Airantou Volume 1 CH. 1 “Cast Away”.

Nagasarete Airantou (2007)
The Nagasarete Airantou anime series is the second direct adaptation of Takeshi Fujishiro’s original manga. This series is produced by Feel and first began airing in April 4, 2007. Rin’s her first anime appearance was in Nagasarete Airantou – Episode 1 “Drifted to Paradise!?”. Her character in the Japanese series is voiced by Ryoko Shiraishi.
There is a small appearance change that is made for Rin in the anmie from her manga look. For the anime Rin was given a pair of dark spandex tight shorts she wears under her shirt. In the original manga, Rin only is shown to wear panties underneath her shirt. The color is never clearly determined.
