Creation
Making his debut in the Beano in 2001, Robbie Rebel was the creators attempt at making a modern day version of Dennis the Menace with the likes of mobile phones, computers and current music trends featuring regularly in the stories. His name and looks (and somewhat, his personality) is based on the singer, Robbie Williams, who was very popular at the time of Robbie Rebels debut.
