Robert Young had two very successful television series during his career. He spent six years from 1954-1960 playing Jim anderson on Father Knows Best. He also had seven very popular seasons playing Dr. Marcus Welby on the ABC drama Marcus Welby, M.D. Previously Robert Young had many film roles in the 1930’s and 40’s. He died July 21, 1998 at age 91 in Westlake Village, CA. He was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, CA.
