Roger Waters

Roger Waters is the bass player of Pink Floyd. Roger became the leader of Pink Floyd when Syd Barrett left. He with his band acheived great success with albums like Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. Waters left the band for creative differences in 1985 . He started a legal battle with the band to see who could keep and use the name Pink Floyd and its material. His solo career included 3 studio albums like The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, Radio K.A.O.S, and Amused To Death. In 1990 he staged one of the largest rock concerts in history, The Wall – Live in Berlin with an estimated 200,000 people in attendence. In 2005 he realeased an opera called Ca Ira. He reunited for a last performance at 2005 Live 8 concert in Hyde’s Park.
