It was with Rose that Iris found out the true purpose of the academy they attended but Rose saw the academy as the only home she has ever been given and made the most of being an executive. Rose is the personal executive of Victor Hwang.
When Iris came to kill Hwang Rose was there to intercept her, unfortunately Rose could not best Iris in a match and the battle ended with Iris running Rose through with a sword and leaving her for dead on a Hwang’s yatch. Despite the yacht blowing up, Rose somehow survived and later helped Iris while under the employ of Duncan Villone.
