Run

History

Run is the leader of a criminal trio called Capers, Inc. He along with Jump and Burn made a reputation as bank robbers in Midwest using their powers. Their next target brought them to the Mason Building in Dakota. Their heist was fold by the city’s resident superhero Static.

In Other Media

Run appears along with Jump in an episode of Static Shock (Season 2 Episode 2 – “Powerplay”). In this version, he is not a leader like his comic book counterpart. He is instead a minion of a Bang Baby named Ragtag. And unlike his powers in the comics, Ragtag gave Run the power of speed, thus making him human with limited abilities (and making his moniker more meaningful). He and Jump persuade Richie Foley to join Ragtag and commit crimes to keep their powers. Eventually, Richie, as Push, refuse to be a criminal and helps Static defeat Ragtag and his minions. He was voiced by Philip Tanzini.
