Origin and History
Rust was a member of the Resistants that attended a meeting set up by a man named Mr. Smith. John Walker as Captain America went to that meeting and was greeted by several uniform individuals that included Rust to represent a Resistant, member of the Sweat Shop, a Scourge of the Underworld, an ULTIMATUM member and a Watchdog. It was a trap set for Captain America but Walker managed to kill all the uniform members inside that meeting room including Rust.
Creation
Rust was created by Mark Gruenwald and Kieron Dwyer in 1989 and first appeared in Captain America # 350.
Powers and Abilities
Rust is a mutant who, as his name implies, can rust metal objects.
