Ruth is the owner of the brothel that Creed has apparently frequented -having his own room there. She appears to be on good terms with Creed, being happy to see him and his being very cordial with her.
Bonnie is curious about Creed, having only just met him one night prior. Ruth tells Bonnie what little she does know. Creed likes Monty Python, hates Brad Pitt, and reads John Sandford novels. She says Creed told her that he thought of making a living selling custom furniture. But she couldn’t tell if he was serious or joking.
Ruth doesn’t know much beyond those things, except that Creed can be as mean & heartless as the devil. And if someone ever told her before that night that he was trying to protect someone, she’d have called them a liar.
