Sala is in love with the Phantom but the Phantom does not return that love.
In the Moonstone line of Phantom comics, it is discovered that Sala has a daughter, Aisha, who was told incorrectly that her father was the Phantom.
Creators
Created by Lee Falk and Ray Moore and introduced in The Phantomâs first adventure in 1936 Sala would return in his second story arch and play a more important part as a member of the Sky Band, an all-female gang of sky pirates. She would also appear often during the early adventures of Oh Ghost Who Walks as the `bad girlâ with a crush on The Phantom.
She was played by Catherine Zeta-Jones in the 1996 film The Phantom.
