Salensus Oll

Salensus Oll was the tyrannical ruler of all Yellow Martians, despised by his own people so much that his own nephew rebelled against him. He offered sanctuary to Matai Shang, Holy Hekkador of the Therns, who brought with them Dejah Thoris and Thuvia of Ptarth as his concubines. Oll took an interest in the women (as well as Shang’s daughter Phaidor) and decided to kill the Holy Thern and made the women his own. He had quite the lustful appetite, boasting an harem of fourteen other women. This ultimately proved to be his undoing, for when Dejah’s husband John Carter brought a fleet of Red Martians to siege Kadabra and destroyed the protecting device shielding it from invaders, Oll was knocked during an explosion and the three women he recently enslaved stabbed him to death.
