Champion and defender of the planet Makkor who once recovered an unconscious Supergirl from space. When Supergirl awoke with amnesia, she joined Salkor’s fight to defend Makkor and even married him. Salkor called Supergirl Jasma. Supergirl helped Salkor to defend Makkor from an intergalactic mercenary named Naxx. They thought that Naxx was destroyed. After Supergirl’s death, Salkor went to Earth where he met Superman at the Fortress of Solitude and where they battled a rejuvinated Naxx. Naxx’s body was destroyed and the pieces were sent to different parts of space to prevent it from reforming into another form.
