Creation
The character called Sam Wildman first appeared in the comic book Section Zero, published by both Gorilla Imprint and than Image Comics. He was created by Karl Kesel’s and Tom Grummett’s who also created the Section Zero concept.
History
Little has been revealed about the man named Sam Wildman. A part of the newest incarnation of Section Zero, a secret section of the UN, headed by “Doc” Titania Challenger. Sam is the team’s weapons and tactical expert. There is also a deeper past to the two as they are ex-husband and wife. Although the two do work together well, pairing Doc Challenger’s brains with Sam tactical knowledge there is often strife between the two.
Sam joined the team at some time and had many exploits with the team on several assignments. From looking into such things as UFOs, Monsters, Lost Civilizations, Time Travel, Ancient Gods, still-living Dinosaurs, and urban legend. Its been stated by Doc Challenger that Section Zero “isn’t” a secret section of the United Nation’s charter. It does not perpetually fund a team of experts and adventurers to investigate the fantastic and unknown.
Powers and Abilities
Wildman wields some sort of power sword, which crackles with blue energy. However whatever special traits that it may posses were never revealed. Wildman carries the sword usually strapped to his back. Wildman is a master swordsman and fighter, tactician, and pilot of ground and aerial vehicles.
