Samael is an Amesha and also Caleb Lost‘s brother. Centuries ago, for unknown reasons, he turned on his allies and joined their rival empire, The Other Side. He now holds an important position and is known as “The prince of seducers”. Even though they share the same side, he despises Nergal, and has helped Harlan Draka and his pards in some occasions. He has a special interest in Tesla, but he never managed to win her heart.
