Throg was a Holy Thern of the Tenth Circle. He had made Thuvia of Ptarth his prisioner, forcing her to do filthy things to satisfy his unnatural lusts. When John Carter and Tars Tarkas broke into the prison holding Thuvia, she was broken free and personally killed Throg, avenging herself from all the abuse he inflicted on her.
