Major Story Arcs
After escaping prison, Scar-puss and Jarface shack up in a house together to hide. Upon hearing noises in the house one night, the two cons find two guys in their basement purporting to be criminals. (In all truth, the two guys are Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd trying to be detectives.) Mortimer is mistaken for Babyface, a criminal known for his boxing. Scar-puss challenges “Babyface” to a fight and Mortimer gets his bell rung a few times. Scar-puss goes in for another hit when Mortimer kicks him in the face, knocking Scar-puss unconscious. Jarface gets suspicious of the two when Mortimer finds a horseshoe in Scar-puss’s glove. He tosses it and hits Jarface in the head, knocking him out. The police find the cons and take them back to jail.
