Brian Lash was Felicia Hardy lover and partner early in her criminal career. She made him promise not to hurt anyone, but he decided to try to kill a witness on one of their jobs. Furious, Felicia scarred his face with her claws and turned him in to the police.
Years later, Lash would break out of prison and assume the name Scar the Stalker. He attacked Felicia, but ultimately was beaten. She came close to killing him, ending the threat he posed to those around him once and for all, but Spider-Man convinced her not to become a murderer and Lash was returned to police custody.
