Scorpia was the warrior queen of Scorpioni people, race of warriors mutant half scorpions, his kingdom was at war with the mighty God “Shatalak” (creator of Scorpioni people) and King of the enemy who came from the fifth dimension to defeat the “Scorpion King” father of Scorpia who had died, his kingdom was taken by Shatalak who wanted to dominate all Etheria, Hordak and his troops under the command of captain Adora fought a battle with Shatalak who defeated God, destroying the gate of the fifth dimension completely losing his powers and sent to prison in the world of the horde.
The Scorpioni kingdom became a dark desert leaving the ruin of his castle where Scorpia lives in next to Crimson Waste, she surrenders to the world of the horde as a thank you, a part of the team as troop lieutenant.

Scorpia and Catra possess a fierce rivalry between them, only working together as a last resort.
