Origin
Barney was a scrapper who found an amnesiac Destructo at a scrap yard. Seeing it as his meal ticket, Barney was devastated when the Y-Men too Destructo away from him. Making an armor out of scrap metal, he became the Scrap Metal Man to take Destructo back. He was defeated by the Y-Men, who then had to fight Destructo who was no longer amnesiac.
